Your privacy.

The short version: this website doesn’t collect anything about you on its own. When you book a table, we get the details you give us so we can look after you on the night. We don’t sell them, and we don’t send you marketing unless you’ve said yes.

Who we are

Little Honey Eatery, at 217 Victoria Street, Hamilton Central, Hamilton 3204, is run by Uncut Limited. When this policy says “we” or “us”, that’s who it means. We follow the Privacy Act 2020.

What this website collects

Nothing directly. Apart from the booking system below, there are no forms on this site, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and we don’t set any cookies.

A few things happen in the background whenever you load any website, and ours is no different:

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type and the pages you asked for) to run the site and keep it secure. Vercel is based in the United States, so these logs may be stored overseas.
Our fonts come from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
If you open the reviews, reviewers’ profile photos load from Google.
If you tap “Get directions”, Google Maps takes over, under Google’s own privacy policy.

When you book a table

Bookings are made through Table Buzz, the booking system we use in the restaurant. When you book, you give us your name, email address and phone number, and you can tell us about a special occasion, dietary requirements, allergies, access needs or anything else we should know. Table Buzz shows you its own terms when you book.

We use those details to:

hold and confirm your table, and contact you if something changes
get your table and your food right — allergies and dietary needs go to the kitchen
recognise you when you come back, and note any occasion you’re celebrating

Allergy, dietary and access information is about your health, so it’s only used for your visit, and only by the people who need it.

If you book by phone on 07 222 3622, we record the same details in the same system.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we won’t send you marketing unless you’ve agreed to it.

Reviews on this site

We show reviews that guests have posted publicly on Google and TripAdvisor, with the name and profile photo they published them under. If one of them is yours and you’d like it off our site, tell us and we’ll take it down.

Who else sees your information

Only the services that run the website and the bookings: Table Buzz for bookings, Vercel for hosting, and Google for fonts, reviewer photos and maps. We don’t share your details with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details for as long as we need them to look after you and to meet our legal obligations, and then we delete them.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. If a privacy breach ever happened that was likely to cause serious harm, we’d tell you and the Privacy Commissioner, as the law requires.

Seeing or correcting what we hold

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. We’ll respond within 20 working days.
